Senior Product Designer - Remote

Overview

Virtual Peaker is looking for a Senior Product Designer that will help solve the climate crisis by supporting our mission of building the utility of the future. The intermittent nature of wind and solar energy makes it much harder for electric utilities to keep the grid in balance. Renewable energy is going to save humanity, and Virtual Peaker is part of the solution.

In Short

• Work closely with Product Management to identify needs and design solutions.
• Translate research insights into UX and UI solutions.
• Conduct customer and end-user research.
• Lead usability tests and validation sessions.
• Collaborate with Marketing to define brand and design language.
• Define and communicate interaction concepts through sketches and prototypes.
• Create information architecture and application flows.
• Generate low and high fidelity visual prototypes.
• Participate in product feature ideation and definition.
• Stay updated with industry changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience in user interface design.
• Ability to communicate design concepts through sketches and wireframes.
• Fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in designing for responsive web applications.
• Prototyping skills in Figma or other tools.
• Past experience with desktop and mobile interfaces.
