In Short

• Build and enhance video ingestion, encoding, packaging, and validation systems.
• Own features managing the content lifecycle for video delivery.
• Integrate with ad-related workflows for seamless playback.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for compatibility and performance.
• Partner with quality engineers to automate validation processes.
• Build observable and maintainable systems in cloud environments.
• Support internal tools for encoding quality evaluation.
• Participate in Agile team activities like stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Debug and resolve playback performance and system reliability issues.
• Contribute to design reviews and system improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Python.
• Experience with video delivery technologies and ingestion pipelines.
• Familiarity with streaming protocols like DASH, CMAF, and HLS.
• Strong understanding of AWS and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Terraform.
• Strong communication skills across technical domains.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
• Passion for learning about evolving video standards.
• Experience working in distributed teams.
