In Short

• Evaluate and analyze proposed remedial action plans
• Ensure strategies align with regulatory requirements and project goals
• Provide recommendations for improvements or adjustments
• Act as the primary point of contact with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies
• Facilitate communication and coordination between project stakeholders and regulators
• Manage contracts and oversee the performance of consultants
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
• Coordinate with multiple parties involved in the Superfund site
• Prepare project cost estimate and maintain estimate for financial assurance
• Prepare and present project status reports to PRP committees

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, civil, geotechnical, chemical engineering, geology, or a related field
• 7-10 years of experience in environmental project management, preferably with Superfund sites
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in project management software and tools - MS Office, modeling software
• Proven experience in regulatory compliance, negotiations, and liaison
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
