Project Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Project Engineer will work within a project team to design, specify, and oversee the implementation of water treatment systems, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and project specifications.

• Work within a project team environment with other engineers and designers.
• Review bid specifications for water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Perform detailed design and calculations for water treatment systems.
• Collaborate with drafting groups on drawing development.
• Perform CAD drafting for process flow and piping diagrams.
• Provide technical requirements for equipment and subcontracts.
• Evaluate supplier proposals for technical conformity and budget compliance.
• Conduct site visits and troubleshoot during construction.
• Develop commissioning plans for project startup.
• Assist Project Managers with scheduling and resource forecasting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of work experience in a related field.
• Experience in AutoCAD software is required.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor/Plant 3D or other 3D modeling is beneficial.
