Commercial Assistant Controller - Remote

Overview

The Commercial Assistant Controller plays a crucial role within the finance department, handling financial administration and providing valuable insights for commercial decisions based on reports and analyses.

In Short

• Preparation of ad-hoc reports and analyses to support business decisions.
• Regular meetings with the client team regarding financial aspects of purchasing and sales deals.
• Control and process (partly) automated financial processes.
• Conduct periodic closings, including ledger checks and periodic bookings.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Identify and implement improvements in financial processes.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes.

Requirements

• Completed HBO or WO education in Business Economics and/or Finance & Control.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as an (Assistant) Controller.
• Ambitious, accurate, and responsible work attitude.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Fluent in Dutch.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Navision is a plus.
