Valatam is a team that connects bilingual professionals from Latin America with global clients and is looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to help build an innovative estimating tool for real estate development projects.

In Short

• Develop and maintain frontend features using React and Next.js.
• Implement UI components using Shadcn and modern design systems.
• Collaborate with the in-house frontend engineer to ensure consistency and performance.
• Optimize frontend performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Use AI-augmented coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot) efficiently and responsibly.
• Build frontend features integrated with Claude Code under structured engineering direction.
• Participate in UI reviews, sprint planning, and frontend architecture discussions.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and scalable frontend structure.

Requirements

• Proficiency in React and Next.js development.
• Experience with modern design systems and UI component implementation.
• Strong collaboration skills for working with other engineers.
• Ability to optimize user experience and frontend performance.
• Familiarity with AI-augmented coding tools.
• Experience in ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong understanding of scalable frontend architecture.
