Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant is responsible for executing a variety of financial procedures including month-end and year-end closings, Accounts Payable and Receivable, General Ledger account reconciliations, General Ledger entries, forecasting and budgeting.

In Short

• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
• Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external auditors.
• Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the Accounting and Finance team or with other departments.
• Ensure all financial transactions within the company are accounted for and follow legal standards.
• Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred
• At least five years' experience in Accounting field
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Professional experience working with confidential and sensitive information
• Knowledge of accounting processes and advanced mathematical skills
• Experience with financial reporting requirements
