Working Student: Video Editor / Video Creator for TikTok & Meta (m/f/d) | Startup - Remote

Overview

Upsters Energy develops functional products for alert moments, such as caffeine candies, caffeine gum, and electrolytes. Your mission is to shoot and edit short videos that are memorable and convert. You will work directly with our CEO Philipp, with scripts and priorities communicated quickly and clearly. Filming takes place in Frankfurt, while editing can be done remotely.

In Short

• Shooting short videos in Frankfurt, equipment provided
• Editing in CapCut or similar, clean pacing, transitions, music, captions, and text overlays
• Implementing provided scripts, making sensible suggestions for hooks, intro sentences, and calls to action
• Creating variants for tests, for example, two to three hook versions per clip
• Platform-specific exports and file naming for TikTok, Instagram, Meta
• Preparing uploads including subtitles and thumbnails, if required
• Collaboration in a hybrid setup with quick feedback loops

Requirements

• Ongoing studies in media, communication, design, or similar beneficial but not mandatory
• Proven experience in filming and editing TikTok or Reels, please provide work samples
• Proficient in CapCut, preferably also Premiere Pro or DaVinci
• Sense of hooks, timing, story flow, and precise text insertions
• Very good German, English is a plus
• Reliable, independent working style with quick submissions
