Project Manager for Tennessee Safety Net Research Consortium - Remote

Overview

The Social Work Office of Research and Public Service is a leader in applied social science research at the University of Tennessee. The person in this role will help shape and develop the new Tennessee Safety Net Research Consortium which – in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Human Services and other research partners – will develop research projects to promote the transformative nature of Tennessee Social Safety Net on the Tennesseans who need it.

In Short

• Manage projects related to Consortium deliverables.
• Establish standard operating procedures.
• Meet technology needs for the Consortium.
• Assist in the recruitment of at least 5 partners.
• Daily management of individual research projects.
• Work effectively with finance, government, and research teams.
• Impact the effectiveness of social programs.
• Shape and develop research projects.
• Collaborate with the Tennessee Department of Human Services.
• Promote the transformative nature of the Tennessee Social Safety Net.
