Overview

The Guest Services Associate for Events welcomes guests to the Smart Museum of Art, ensuring compliance with visitor protocols while supporting events and museum operations.

In Short

• Welcome and register museum guests.
• Ensure compliance with security procedures.
• Support event operations and after-hours events.
• Assist with school group check-in and wayfinding.

Requirements

• Vocational training or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of work experience in a related field.
• Background in arts, museums, or cultural institutions preferred.
• Experience in security or public-facing roles preferred.
• Proficient in technology tools, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and adaptable mindset for diverse interactions.
• Ability to learn the internal workings of the museum quickly.
