Overview

The Assistant Director, Events and Programs plays a key role in advancing the Family Office Initiative’s mission by designing and executing strategic, high-impact events and programs that engage diverse audiences.

In Short

  • Design and execute strategic events and programs.
  • Manage logistics including communications, budgets, and vendor coordination.
  • Oversee the Family Office Summit logistics.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders including students, alumni, and faculty.
  • Utilize project management tools to track and report on events.
  • Maintain and update the Family Office Initiative website and social media.
  • Support event speakers and manage volunteer coordination.
  • Conduct data analysis to measure program effectiveness.
  • Assist in managing vendor contracts and payments.
  • Develop and implement protocols for evaluating programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in event coordination or management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with CRM systems, especially Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with social media and content management tools.
  • Commitment to customer service and relationship building.
  • Willingness to embrace continuous improvement.
