Overview

The Improvement Consultant plays a critical role in driving performance improvement and operational excellence across UHN, leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodology and data-driven insights to enhance patient outcomes and system efficiency.

• Lead clinical teams in applying Lean Six Sigma methodology for quality improvement.
• Manage end-to-end process improvement projects from planning to execution.

• Support the UHN Lean Six Sigma Community of Practice.

• Identify opportunities for improvement in care delivery.
• Utilize data visualization and reporting tools for decision-making.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Health Science, Business, or related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a hospital setting.
• Excellent data analysis and communication skills.
• Experience with project management and change management principles.
• Proficient in data visualization and reporting tools.
• Ability to develop educational materials and facilitate training.
• Strong problem recognition and analytical skills.
• Experience in leading improvement projects.
• Master’s degree is an asset.
