International Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled International Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting and tax compliance for our operations in Poland, Germany, and the United Kingdom. This is a challenging and dynamic role requiring deep knowledge of cross-border tax compliance, multinational accounting standards, and the ability to work across multiple regulatory environments simultaneously.

In Short

• Manage general ledger accounting for entities in Poland, Germany, and the UK.
• Prepare and submit statutory tax declarations, including VAT, CIT, and Corporation Tax.
• Ensure cross-border tax compliance by coordinating with local tax advisors.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for each entity.
• Liaise with auditors in multiple countries.
• Prepare consolidated financial reports under IFRS.
• Maintain and reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Work with multiple accounting and ERP systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualifications: ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in accounting with at least 3 years in an international environment.
• Technical expertise in PAS, HGB, UK GAAP, and IFRS.
• Experience with at least one international ERP (SAP, Oracle NetSuite, etc.).
• Fluent in Polish and English; German is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
