Overview

We are seeking a Social Affairs Specialist (60 - 70 %) for our client, the City of Winterthur, Department of Social Affairs. This role involves contributing to the development of urban policies regarding aging, children, and youth.

In Short

• Develop conceptual foundations for social policies
• Participate in projects
• Organize professional and public events
• Create statistical foundations for care planning
• Represent the Social Affairs Department in internal and external committees

Requirements

• University degree in Sociology, Social, Health, or Political Sciences
• Knowledge in social issues, preferably related to aging and health or childhood and youth
• Numerical aptitude, knowledge of statistics is an advantage
• Preferably some work experience
• Engaged personality with good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
