In Short

• Create photorealistic textures for environments, props, and characters.
• Develop material libraries and texture workflows for AAA projects.
• Collaborate with artists to ensure seamless texture integration.
• Optimize textures for performance while maintaining visual quality.
• Mentor junior texture artists.
• Define and uphold visual style and quality standards.
• Contribute to PBR workflows and emerging tools.
• Playtest to iterate based on feedback.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Texture Artist in the video game industry.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality work.
• Proficiency with Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Maya, and Photoshop.
• Understanding of PBR workflows and material authoring.
• Experience in Unreal Engine 5.
• Familiarity with procedural texturing and tiling workflows.
• Knowledge of shader networks in Unreal Engine.
• Strong attention to detail and storytelling through texture.
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
