Senior Incident Response Security Consultant - Remote

Overview

TrustedSec is looking for an experienced individual to fill a Senior Incident Response Consultant role on our world-class Incident Response team. Incident Responders have strong technical skills and work directly with clients to perform investigations, forensically analyze systems of all kinds, and pick apart malware to figure out how to detect, contain, and remediate compromised organizations.

In Short

• MUST be familiar with Incident Response best practices and procedures.
• MUST have Windows Incident Response and computer forensics experience.
• MUST be familiar with network analysis and forensics.
• Experience with Mobile, Linux/UNIX, Cloud or Mac OS X forensics is a plus.
• Malware analysis and memory analysis experience is a plus.
• Running Tabletop Exercises and Threat Hunting experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is a plus.

Requirements

• 5+ years proven experience in security consulting, risk assessment, and security strategy development.
• Cybersecurity Degree or relevant certifications and industry experience.
• Advanced understanding of Information Security Frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in security assessment tools and methodologies.
• Strong project management and client-facing skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
