Collateral Chief Review Appraiser - Remote

Overview

The Collateral Chief Review Appraiser will lead and manage a team to ensure quality goals in collateral reviews while working remotely within the Truist footprint.

In Short

• Lead a collateral review team to meet pipeline metrics.
• Ensure adherence to collateral risk management policies.
• Monitor trends and provide feedback and training.
• Act as a collateral escalation point for issues.
• Perform second tier reviews of collateral documentation.
• Develop relationships with other departments.
• Resolve client service-related problems.
• Recruit and mentor high-performing teammates.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the appraisal team.
• Must be a Certified Residential Appraiser.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of mortgage or consumer loan underwriting experience.
• Three years of collateral review experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products.
• Ability to travel occasionally.
• State certified or licensed appraiser preferred.
• Understanding of appraisal compliance and rules.
• Experience with appraisal and market evaluation tools.
• Basic knowledge of bank services and products.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education preferred.
