Overview

True Zero Technologies is seeking a highly-motivated and detail-oriented Tier 1 SOC Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team, where you will monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents to protect our clients' assets.

In Short

• Monitor and triage security events.
• Investigate and identify root causes of security incidents.
• Determine extent and remediation of security events.
• Refine and improve existing use cases with Tier 2.
• Perform continuous monitoring across various platforms.
• Communicate reported events across different systems.
• Generate reports on findings and remediation efforts.
• Document security events and store related artifacts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on incident investigations.
• Handle communications for events into the SOC.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a SOC or security-related role.
• Familiarity with security technologies like SIEM and firewalls.
• Understanding of network protocols and security monitoring.
• Knowledge of incident response methodologies.
• Familiarity with operating systems and their security features.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for documentation and reporting.
• Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+ are desirable.
• Experience with threat hunting techniques.
