Senior Front-end Engineer (React) - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Developer (React) to build high-quality, user-centric web applications for a major sports media client. You'll focus on developing responsive, accessible interfaces using React, integrating with Node.js APIs, and ensuring top-notch performance and UX.

In Short

• Develop and maintain responsive, performant, and accessible web applications using React, Node.js, and modern JavaScript.
• Write clean, maintainable code while following best practices in UI/UX, testing, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, contributing to CI/CD pipelines and build automation.
• Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) using Jest, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
• Ensure applications meet WCAG accessibility standards and deliver an inclusive user experience.
• Optimize front-end performance, scalability, and reliability using SASS/LESS, Redux, and modern build tools.
• (Bonus) Work with Next.js, GraphQL (Apollo), WebView, or native mobile (iOS/Android) if experienced.

Requirements

• 5+ years of front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• 2+ years of React.js and state management (Redux or similar).
• Strong expertise in Node.js (Express) and RESTful API integration.
• Proficiency in CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS) and responsive design.
• Experience with TDD/automated testing (Jest, Playwright, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, Git, and DevOps best practices.
• Knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG) and performance optimization.
