Senior Front End Engineer - Consultancy - Remote

Overview

The Senior Front-End Developer plays a key role in building and maintaining high-quality, reusable UI components to support a consistent and scalable design system for a global technology client.

In Short

• Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable frontend components using React, Vue, or Angular.
• Build and document UI components in Storybook to ensure consistency across the application.
• Collaborate with designers to implement and refine a scalable design system.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Stay updated with the latest frontend trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Hands-on experience with Storybook for UI component development and documentation.
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Pinia, etc.).
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less) and CSS-in-JS solutions (Styled Components, Emotion).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Testing Library).
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
