Lead Front-End Engineer (React) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Lead Front-End Engineer to lead a major redesign initiative for a widely used gift card discovery platform, focusing on enhancing mobile usability and driving user engagement through an improved user interface.

In Short

• Lead the reskin, rebrand, and UX redesign of a major digital gift card application.
• Integrate the gift experience as a native component within a broader fintech platform.
• Improve digital setup, customer activation flow, and overall engagement strategy.
• Build scalable UI components with Storybook and Tailwind CSS.
• Ensure WCAG-compliant accessibility across all features.
• Maintain high code quality with React Testing Library and Jest.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Communicate effectively with client stakeholders and distributed development teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of front-end development experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Expert-level proficiency with React & Redux, Tailwind CSS, Storybook, React Testing Library / Jest, and Accessibility (WCAG) best practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with distributed teams across time zones.
• Proven success delivering performant, scalable, and accessible applications.
