Senior Backend Developer (Node.js and TypeScript) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to strengthen the architecture of our backend platforms, enhance the reliability of our APIs, and participate in the evolution of our product in the field of sports and nutrition.

In Short

• Develop backend services in TypeScript / Node.js
• Design robust and scalable APIs using GraphQL
• Optimize and maintain PostgreSQL databases
• Participate in continuous improvement of the architecture
• Integrate third-party services (authentication, payment, tracking...)
• Contribute to writing technical specifications and documentation
• Ensure testing, debugging, and code quality
• Engage in Agile rituals with the Product team

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in backend development with strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
• Comfortable with relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of performance, security, scalability, and backend testing issues
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in documentation and communication
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Enjoys teamwork, iterating on proposals, and eager to progress in a dynamic environment
• Motivated by building an innovative and ambitious project in the field of sports and nutrition
• Living in the Alpes-Maritimes region or willing to relocate (optional but appreciated)
