Electrical Design Engineer II - Renewable Energy - Remote

Overview

Timmons Group is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer II to join our Electrical Design Group’s Renewable Energy team. This role focuses on power generation and renewable energy projects throughout the country, including solar farms and battery storage projects, with the possibility of remote work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Two or more years of electrical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Legally eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship.
• Preferred: Engineer in Training Certification or Professional Engineer registration.
• Experience in PV collection design and power systems modeling.
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
