Financial Intelligence Unit Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) Analyst is responsible for assisting with BSA related functions such as analysis, investigation, and disposition of alerts generated from the Bank’s BSA/AML automated surveillance monitoring software.

In Short

• Analyze accounts for unusual or suspicious activity.
• Process alerts and determine whether to escalate further investigations.
• Conduct account investigations and document findings.
• Communicate with Bank personnel regarding deficiencies detected.
• Utilize various resources to investigate financial criminal activity.
• File suspicious activity reports (SARs) in a timely manner.
• Maintain proficiency in BSA/AML compliance.
• Adhere to the Bank’s policies and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned based on the Bank's needs.

Requirements

• Knowledge of BSA/AML regulations.
• 2-3 years of case management/SAR filing experience.
• Familiarity with AML monitoring systems.
• Strong understanding of bank operations.
• CAMS and/or CAFP preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
