Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a senior infrastructure engineer to join our Continuous Computing Practice that provides specialist operational cloud platform, infrastructure, network and software services to our customers. Our team of engineers engage on the implementation, operations and management of on-premises and cloud platforms including hybrid and cloud-native platforms.

In Short

• 6+ years of commercial and hands-on engineering experience in enterprise ICT environments.
• Experience in managing and operating on-premises Microsoft Windows-based infrastructure.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience operating hybrid infrastructure in hypervisor environments.
• Experience deploying, operating and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code environments.
• Strong scripting/automation technology experience.
• Operational experience working within DevOps frameworks.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong understanding of operational best practice.
• Good grasp of Security frameworks in production operational environments.

Requirements

• Experience managing and operating heterogeneous Linux environments.
• Experience with AWS cloud platforms.
• Microsoft certifications desirable.
• Hands-on experience of containers and container orchestration.
• Experience with a wide variety of open-source technologies.
