Temporary Accounting Technician - Remote

Overview

The Temporary Accounting Technician will provide purchasing, payment, and administrative support as part of the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost's academic business affairs team.

In Short

• Process purchase requests and payments.
• Prepare travel authorizations and payment vouchers.
• Maintain records according to retention policies.
• Ensure reliable communication with employees and vendors.
• Evaluate and resolve procurement and payment issues.
• Assist with administrative support tasks.

• Position expected to work remotely 1+ days per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience as an accounting clerk or similar role.
• Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with university accounting policies preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Familiarity with procurement systems is a plus.
