Facilitator/Coach - Remote

Overview

The Facilitator/Coach will support the mission of The Pathfinder Network by facilitating participants’ understanding of program materials and development of pro-social skills and behavior.

In Short

• Facilitate cognitive behavioral and Parenting Inside Out programming.
• Evaluate participant progress and behaviors.
• Plan and prepare materials for classes.
• Communicate effectively with staff and participants.
• Participate in shared leadership and diversity initiatives.
• Work in secured detention or correctional settings.
• Adhere to security procedures and maintain confidentiality.
• Participate in professional development and continuous learning.
• Must pass background checks and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Full-time position with typical hours from 12:30pm to 8:30pm.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree and one year of related experience.
• Group facilitation skills and experience in the criminal justice system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills, including databases and spreadsheets.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Pass a criminal history background check and drug screen.
• Access to a motor vehicle covered by adequate insurance.
• Ability to work under high-stress emotional experiences.
