DoD VLS Content Reviewer - Remote

Overview

The DoD VLS Content Reviewer will support the Department of Defense Virtual Lab School team by reviewing and editing educational content to ensure alignment with current guidance and policies.

In Short

• Review existing content on the VLS website.
• Identify necessary adjustments to align with stakeholder guidance.
• Document identified spaces in assigned courses.
• Track maintenance and improvement opportunities.
• Work with the Associate Director of Professional Development & Training.
• Temporary, remote position with potential office work.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in child development or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of evidence-based research in child development.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in child development or related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Prior content reviewing and editing experience.
• Knowledge of early childhood development practices.
• Experience in writing and editing academic papers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, One Drive, Word, and Excel.
• Experience developing training content for adult learners.
• Knowledge of evidence-based research in child/human development.
• Experience developing online training content.
• Strong attention to detail for identifying typos and errors.
