Test & Evaluation Engineering Technician - Remote

Overview

The Boeing Missile and Weapons System division is seeking a highly motivated Test & Evaluation Engineering Technician to support Dynamic and Environmental Testing in Ogden, UT. This role involves testing, operating, and maintaining test equipment, designing test hardware and systems, and supporting various testing environments.

In Short

• Support testing at Hill Air Force Base's Shock & Vibration Labs.
• Design and maintain test hardware and software.
• Conduct dynamic and environmental tests including shock and vibration.
• Setup instrumentation and configurations for tests.
• Identify solutions to problems during testing.
• Prepare test debrief materials and reports.
• Maintain and troubleshoot test stands and equipment.
• Participate in test readiness and safety reviews.
• Perform calibrations and system validations.
• Work onsite at the specified location.

Requirements

• Experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience in engineering test support in a lab environment.
• Ability to lead a team in conducting tests.
• General knowledge of automatic test equipment operation.
• Familiarity with design of experimental models and test rigs.
• Knowledge of machine shop tools and processes.
• Ability to integrate various test instrumentation.
• U.S. top secret clearance required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
