The Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is a globally recognized leader in emergency response training, workforce development, and technical assistance. With a commitment to enhancing public safety, TEEX serves over 138,000 individuals annually from across the United States and around the world. The agency offers a wide range of programs, including Fire and Emergency Services, Law Enforcement, and Cyber Solutions, and operates advanced training facilities such as the Brayton Fire Training Field and Disaster City®. As a key player in homeland security training, TEEX is part of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium and provides federally funded training and exercises to communities nationwide. Additionally, TEEX supports statewide response teams, including Texas A&M Task Force 1, which specializes in urban search and rescue, and the Texas A&M Public Works Response Team, which assists in restoring essential services after disasters.
