In Short

• Lead and oversee the installation of structured cabling in new data center builds.
• Verify that all work aligns with the approved network architecture and cabling diagrams.
• Perform active audits on patching, labeling, fiber/copper termination, and cable routing.
• Coordinate and provide remediation for any deviations or deficiencies during deployment.
• Deliver hands-on training to Data Center technicians for ongoing cable plant operations.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and cabling standards.
• Partner with the Data Center Architecture team to provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements.
• Participate in L1/L2 network design validation and deployment readiness checks.
• Willingness to travel 75% globally for multi-site deployments.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 1 & Layer 2 networking.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience deploying data center cabling infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 1 & Layer 2 networking (Ethernet, VLANs, trunking, spanning tree, etc.).
• Deep understanding of structured cabling systems, including fiber and copper media.
• Proven ability to read, interpret, and execute network architecture diagrams.
• Willingness to travel 75% globally for multi-site deployments.
