Overview

Tempus is seeking a Clinical Data Manager in Oncology to lead a team of Data Abstractors, ensuring high-quality data abstraction standards and supporting the professional development of the team.

In Short

• Manage the clinical abstraction process for a growing database.
• Act as the primary contact between operations and clinical data abstractors.
• Provide clinical expertise and handle team requests.
• Work with multiple data sources for report generation.
• Develop and maintain abstraction guidelines.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy standards are met.
• Recruit and train new Data Abstractors.
• Coach and monitor abstractor performance.

Requirements

• Preferred qualifications include CTR, LPN, BSN, or MSN.
• Management experience is strongly preferred.
• 4+ years in a clinical or research setting, preferably in oncology.
• Data Quality Assurance experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical and genomic terminology.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Google Suite.
• Strong leadership and multitasking abilities.
