Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Architect with deep expertise in regulated financial systems, trading platforms, and end-to-end trading infrastructure to lead the architecture and backend development of a greenfield Futures Commodity Commissions Market (FCM) platform.

In Short

Lead the architecture and backend development of a compliant trading platform.
Design and implement Order Management Systems (OMS) and compliance subsystems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business and regulatory requirements.
Build and mentor backend teams through implementation and deployment.
Design AWS-native architecture leveraging various AWS services.
Ensure compliance with CFTC and NFA regulations.
Document architecture and technical specifications.
Integrate third-party systems as needed.
Work in a high-performance AWS cloud-native environment.
Drive the development of scalable and secure backend systems.

Requirements

12+ years of backend system design experience.
Expertise in financial markets and regulated environments.
Strong coding experience with C++ on .NET.
Knowledge of CFTC/NFA regulations and compliance reporting.
Experience with real-time applications on AWS.
Strong communication skills for technical documentation.
Experience designing OMS and clearing workflows.
Ability to work in ambiguity and define tech direction.
Hands-on experience delivering Back Office systems.
Proactive problem solver with strategic thinking.
