IT Auditor (m/f/d) - Remote

Tangany, based in Munich, is an innovative technology company with a market-leading B2B solution for the custody of digital assets (e.g., cryptocurrencies, tokenized assets, NFTs) in blockchain networks. Our solution is already used by more than 50 institutional clients. As a licensed financial institution, Tangany GmbH is regulated by BaFin.

In Short

• Conduct and lead IT audit examinations, including planning, analysis, interviews, and reporting to ensure proper business organization according to §25a KWG.
• Independently perform audits in various IT areas, infrastructure, operations, IT security (ISO 27001, BSI Grundschutz), and projects, creating audit reports based on common auditing standards.
• Conduct audits for outsourcing (ICT third-party providers, partners) and evaluate results.
• Document and report audit results to management.
• Derive and communicate recommendations and optimization proposals to management.
• Follow up on agreed actions from internal and external audits in the departments.
• Further develop the procedures and methods used in auditing, especially in IT.
• Provide internal consulting on audit topics and support the development of the internal control system (IKS).
• Assess plausibility in the evaluation of risks from new processes (New Product Process, NPP).
• Act as a contact for internal and external stakeholders such as regulatory authorities, auditors, and partners.

Requirements

• Completed studies in business informatics, computer science, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
• In-depth knowledge of IT topics such as governance, infrastructure, security (ISO 27001, BSI Grundschutz), and projects.
• Proven experience in banking/finance, including a solid understanding of financial processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., §25a KWG, MaRisk/BAIT/DORA).
• Experience in conducting IT audits and creating reports according to common standards.
• Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of business processes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex topics understandably.
• Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
