Mr D, a 100% subsidiary of takealot.com, is looking for a talented, motivated and results-oriented DevOps Engineer.

In Short

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
• Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes.
• Set up and maintain monitoring systems using Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
• Automate deployments with CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize tools for log management and analysis.
• Develop scripts using Python and Golang for automation.
• Manage data workflows across databases.
• Work with Kafka for real-time data processing.
• Participate in incident management and resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in relevant fields.
• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Proficiency in AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience with programming in Python and Golang.
• Knowledge of observability tools and database technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Passion for continuous learning.
