Senior Smart Contract Engineer - Remote

Overview

Symbiotic is building a permissionless shared security primitive for network builders in the crypto infrastructure space.

In Short

• Work on smart contract codebase and develop new modules.
• Contribute to design and development of EVM-based systems.
• Write, optimize, and audit smart contracts in Solidity.
• Build and experiment with staking and DeFi primitives.
• Leverage development tools like Foundry and Hardhat.
• Conduct security audits and address vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with protocol engineers for integrations.
• Work with web3 libraries for off-chain interactions.
• Occasionally script in Python and TypeScript.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Ethereum L1/L2 architecture.
• Familiarity with blockchain primitives and cryptography.
• Deep knowledge of EVM internals.
• Expert in Solidity; exposure to Yul, Vyper, or Huff is a plus.
• Solid grasp of DeFi concepts.
• Proficient with Foundry, Hardhat, ethers.js, web3.js.
• Strong security mindset and knowledge of attack vectors.
• Practical coding experience in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
