Technical Advisor – Structural/Naval Architect/Hull Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Technical Advisor will be responsible for performing global and partial analysis of FPSO hull structures, with a focus on delivering quality engineering solutions.

• 6-month contract starting ASAP
• Hybrid working model: 3 days in office, 2 days remote
• Requires a minimum of 10 years' experience in offshore and hull engineering
• Must have detailed knowledge of SESAM Genie and previous experience with Nauticus Hull
• Knowledge of DNV Rules and NORSOK codes is essential
• Experience working on FPSO hulls in harsh environments is necessary
• Stochastic fatigue analysis knowledge to DNV standards is a plus
• Recent experience with Equinor is advantageous
• Rate of £60 per hour, outside IR35
• Located in Leatherhead, UK

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in structural/naval architecture
• Excellent technical and practical engineering skills
• Ability to deliver quality work on schedule
• Experience with global and partial analysis of hull structures
• Proficiency in SESAM Genie and Nauticus Hull software
• Familiarity with DNV Rules and NORSOK standards
• Experience in harsh water environments
• Knowledge of stochastic fatigue analysis
• Equinor experience is a plus
