Security Vulnerability Analyst - Remote

Overview

Stride is seeking a Security Vulnerability Analyst professional to drive the technical execution and maturity of our vulnerability management function within the Security Operations team. This role is focused on overseeing vulnerability scanning, technical assessments, and remediation tracking across Stride’s AWS, Azure, and SaaS environments.

In Short

• Lead/Assist vulnerability management operations across cloud and SaaS environments.
• Own the configuration and operational use of vulnerability management tooling.
• Prioritize vulnerabilities using threat-based models.
• Coordinate remediation plans with Engineering and AppSec teams.
• Track and report remediation SLAs and risk acceptance items.
• Provide vulnerability metrics for leadership and compliance.
• Participate in incident response activities related to vulnerabilities.
• Document vulnerability management policies and procedures.
• Correlate findings with threat intelligence feeds.
• Assist with vulnerability remediation verification and rescanning activities.

Requirements

• Three years of experience in security operations or vulnerability management.
• Hands-on experience with Tenable, Qualys, or similar platforms.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security principles, especially AWS and Azure.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like NIST CSF and SOX.
• Strong communication skills for leading cross-functional efforts.
• Ability to present risk findings to technical and executive stakeholders.
