SEO Analyst - Remote

Overview

The SEO analyst leads Strategic America's search engine optimization strategies and processes for clients. This person is an innovator and motivated self-learner in the digital space, with the drive to continually research current best practices and tactics within SEO.

In Short

• Works with cross-functional teams to establish and implement SEO strategies for clients.
• Develops strong, trusting relationships between clients and agency partners.
• Evaluates SEO performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Performs keyword research and monitors keyword performance.
• Manage local SEO programs individually and at scale.
• Collaborates with content strategists to incorporate keywords into writing.
• Performs technical SEO audits to uncover issues.
• Analyzes data to identify the root cause of issues.
• Identifies backlink opportunities and performs necessary outreach.
• Stays current with industry and client research.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years full-time experience in search engine optimization.
• Experience in SEO copywriting, backlinking, technical SEO, local SEO, keyword research.
• Prior content management system (CMS) experience a plus.
• Strong technical SEO knowledge.
• Experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.
• Solid understanding of web protocols and architectures.
• Experience with WordPress websites a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative and works with team members.
• Travel required 10% of time.
