Middle School Success Advisor - Remote

Overview

The Middle School Success Advisor will support and empower middle school students from under-resourced communities, helping them navigate their educational journey toward college graduation.

In Short

• Develop relationships with 50 - 70 Scholars and their families.
• Collaborate with teachers to support students’ growth.
• Teach social-emotional classes.
• Implement after-school and summer programming.
• Track and analyze student progress.
• Contribute to curriculum development and office-wide efforts.
• Work a Tuesday-Saturday schedule during the academic year.
• Hybrid role with in-person and remote work.
• Provide a $500 home office stipend.
• Must be able to work in-person during summer sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1+ year of experience in an education program preferred.
• Experience with sixth to ninth grade students.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Clear communication skills.
• Bilingual candidates preferred.
• Commitment to educational access.
• Knowledge of Boston Public Schools is a plus.
• Flexibility and problem-solving capabilities.
