Overview

As a Lead Journalist for ANZ Bloodstock News, you will be responsible for producing lead stories for a daily newsletter focused on the racing and bloodstock industry in Australasia.

• Write bloodstock news, racing stories, and features in a timely and accurate manner.
• Help plan editorial content with the bloodstock international editor.
• Attend major sales and events in Australasia as required.
• Monitor the bloodstock market and industry trends.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key industry figures.
• Manage social media duties, including posting content on various platforms.
• Proof and write Australasian-focused features for Racing Post Bloodstock desk.
• Follow house style and adhere to media and copyright laws.
• Build and nurture a strong network of contacts in the racing industry.
