Overview

The Senior Database Administrator (DBA) will be responsible for the 24/7 operation of MSS and customer databases, ensuring quality and performance in database management and support.

• Responsible for installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle databases.
• Creates and maintains databases for development, testing, and production.
• Performs database and application tuning and performance monitoring.
• Plans and implements backup and recovery policies.
• Controls migrations through the development life cycle.
• Implements and enforces database security.
• Troubleshoots database and application issues.
• Provides technical support to development teams.

• Analyzes performance problems in database transactions.

Requirements

• Excellent understanding of Oracle databases and related tools.
• Proven experience as an Oracle DBA supporting various versions.
• Experience with Oracle Clusterware and ASM volume manager.
• Strong PL/SQL tuning and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills with management and teams.
• Oracle certifications are required.
• Teamwork experience is essential.
