Overview

The Senior Backend / Integrations Engineer will design and build scalable integrations and data pipelines for a leading Enterprise SaaS / AIOps platform, focusing on API integrations and event-driven architectures.

• Design and build scalable integrations with external enterprise systems.
• Develop event-driven architectures (webhooks, polling, streaming, API orchestration).
• Implement backend services using Node.js and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Process and normalize high-volume, real-time data flows.
• Support AI-assisted product features, including prompt design and AI-driven automation workflows.
• Ensure reliability of integration pipelines in production environments.
• Handle API versioning, schema changes, rate limits, and backward compatibility.
• Build and maintain testing pipelines (unit, integration, staging).
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams.
• Troubleshoot complex cross-system integration issues.
• Maintain technical documentation of integrations and workflows.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years as a Backend / Integrations Engineer.
• Strong experience with Node.js or similar backend stacks.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and distributed systems.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.).
• Understanding of prompt engineering basics.
• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong debugging and system troubleshooting skills.
• Experience delivering features end-to-end (design → production).
• Comfortable working in complex distributed environments.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
