Accountant III - Remote

Overview

As Accountant III, you will be responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements, and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

In Short

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Prepare and review budget vs. actual reports and provide variance analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and regulatory reports.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data through regular audits.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
