Overview

South College invites applications for full-time faculty positions in the developing hybrid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.

In Short

• Full-time faculty position in the DPT program.
• Positions include Director and core faculty roles.
• Requires a terminal academic degree and/or DPT degree.
• Experience teaching in DPT education preferred.
• Responsibilities include course development and student assessment.
• Engagement in scholarly works and service activities required.
• Relocation to Orlando encouraged but not required.
• Active Physical Therapy license in Florida preferred.
• Strong communication skills necessary.
• Commitment to an inclusive and equitable work environment.

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree or academic doctorate in related field.
• ABPTS Board certification and/or evidence of expertise.
• Prior teaching experience in CAPTE accredited program.
• Minimum three years post-licensure clinical practice.
• Understanding of higher education and clinical practice.
• Able to travel to Orlando for lab and student events.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for teaching and teamwork.
