Freelance Creative Manager for Social Media Content - Remote

Overview

We are looking for support in creating Short-Form Videos (Reels/Shorts), Social Graphics (Carousels/Stories), and conducting Content and Account Research. You will bring structure to content processes, keep an eye on trends, and help ensure that creative topics progress reliably.

In Short

• Video editing: reviewing raw material, selecting snippets, cutting, adding on-screen texts/subtitles, hooks, thumbnails/covers, and exporting in the appropriate formats.
• Creating social graphics: designing carousels and story slides in Canva.
• Trend research: compiling relevant audio/format trends, hook ideas, and observations for IG/TikTok/Shorts weekly.
• People/account research: identifying suitable profiles/creators/industry accounts based on briefing and documenting them cleanly in a list.
• Email outreach: sending initial emails using a template, making slight adjustments, and scheduling short follow-ups.
• Optional: maintaining folder structure/assets, keeping Notion/ClickUp boards up to date, and adding small SOPs/checklists.

Requirements

• You have edited Short-Form Clips before (please provide examples).
• You have a good eye for aesthetics and readability (text overlays, thumbnails, caption timing).
• You work independently and reliably, keeping deadlines in mind.
• You enjoy research and document information neatly.
• You are familiar with tools like CapCut/Premiere, Canva, Notion or ClickUp, Google Drive, Loom (or can learn quickly).
• You can speak German fluently; good English skills are a plus.
