As a Power Distribution Make Ready Designer, you will join a supportive team at Sigma Technologies, providing design services to power utility companies.

In Short

• Execute work orders for power distribution infrastructure design.
• Perform Make-Ready/Joint-use and general distribution design.
• Collaborate with teams to solve design process problems.
• Handle permitting duties and communicate with outside parties.
• Utilize design programs such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Conduct quality control on design work.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in power utility distribution design.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance required.
• Willingness to travel overnight if needed.
• Experience with CAD and MicroStation is required.
• Knowledge of power distribution system construction and planning.
