Accounting Specialist - Accounts Receivable - Charter Air - Remote

Short’s Travel Management is seeking a skilled A/R Specialist to join our Charter air finance team. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely and is ideal for those with accounting experience in the aviation industry.

In Short

• Responsible for creating and sending invoices in a high-volume charter business.
• Maintain client records in Stack/Salesforce.
• Bill clients for both deposit and balance invoices in a timely manner.
• Work closely with remote team members to ensure accurate processing of invoices.
• Post payments and cash receipts daily.
• Follow up with schools on open AR balances.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting/bookkeeping experience required.
• Salesforce experience is mandatory.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting/bookkeeping or equivalent education.
• Working knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding financial information.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
