Operational Team Leader - Remote

Overview

The Operational Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the performance and compliance of contracted drivers in various stores or clusters, ensuring quality outputs in accordance with client service level agreements and regulatory requirements.

In Short

• Manage performance objectives and monitor performance exceptions.
• Coordinate driver availability and schedules.
• Conduct compliance checks on drivers and assets.
• Provide physical support and issue necessary resources.
• Engage with independent contractors for training and support.
• Gather and address driver feedback to improve performance.
• Report incidents and accidents accurately and timely.
• Contribute to continuous improvement recommendations.
• Submit budget inputs as required.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent at NQF level 4 (essential).
• Diploma in supply chain management/transportation/safety management or equivalent at NQF level 5 (essential).
• Code B Driver’s License (essential).
• At least 3 years working experience in an operations environment (essential).
• One year experience in a supervisory capacity (desirable).
