The Special Projects team at Shield AI is an elite force within the office of the CTO, consisting of highly experienced software engineering experts from diverse fields. The team steers technology development towards strategic alignment with the CTO’s vision.

In Short

• Work on the integration of Hivemind Edge, Design, and Commander into an integrated product.
• Contribute to all three pillars of Hivemind, Shield AI’s software ecosystem.
• Operate effectively within ambiguity.
• Make direct contributions to foundational Hivemind products.
• Gain depth and breadth in understanding the Hivemind software ecosystem.
• Collaborate with product teams and deliver low-TRL solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in software engineering with a focus on C++, Go, Python, and Typescript.
• Background in aerospace, robotics, or cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
• Experience with interactive media design is a plus.
• Familiarity with service-oriented architecture.
• Experience in game development is advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills.
